About Belly Dance

"Belly Dance" or "Oriental Dance" is the oldest known existing dance form in the world. Originating from North Africa, the Middle East and Asia, this dance emerged from ancient fertility rites and in celebration of women. Today it is a form of entertainment performed in theatres and restaurants, and is taught all over the world. It is an artistic, expressive and inspiring form of dance (and exercise!) that can bring new meaning to your life!

Benefits of Belly Dance

Belly Dance is a great form of low-impact exercise that improves posture, increases flexibility and strengthens many of the muscles of the body. Belly Dance also improves self-esteem, promotes a positive body image, reduces stress, and provides a support network among women.

With over 20 weekly classes, Workshops, and Choreography Programs, Belly Motions encourages our students to dance as often as possible!
